Aluminum Associates was formed in 1972 by Kenneth J. Lehr. He ran the business as a sole-proprietorship until November 27, 1981. The business was sold on November 27, 1981 to Kert E. Sloan, who was at the time an employee of the company. The business remained
a sole proprietorship until November 21, 1983, when it was named Alumninum Associates / Sloan Corp. In January of 1999 Sloan Corp. purchased Hartman's Home Improvements, so we could expand on our remodeling end of the business. We now run both companies as one under Aluminum Associates.
The business has always been built on a long-term employee base, quality products and customer satisfaction. We try to create a family oriented concept with employee input, teamwork & enjoyment of the job, so as to allow the above to show through in our work. Clean, neat working habits, trucks and equipment and always been our strong point. We have always tried to portray this image & strive to perfect it. We like to think of our company as an old Mom and Pop business with a knowledgable staff, dedicated customers, quality products & pride in what we do.
